Calm after the storm
Things have been going pretty well. My dad is doing way better and I’m crossing my fingers that he keeps up the good work.
I had a minor breakdown last week concerning body image, loose skin and other silly issues. I was worrying about having a ton of loose skin and ending up with a hideous wrecked body that would need plastic surgery. I hate doctors and plastic surgery is pretty much against my principles. The solution to this minor freak out is that I’m going to add extra ab work every day and target my triceps.
In better body news I look so much better. I took some pictures and compared them to some from 2007. All I can say is wow. The sin on my face is so much clearer, and my face and neck are a lot thinner. Overall I look like I weight less than I really do. I think I’ve put on quite a bit of muscle. A few weeks ago I tried on some clothes and things that have never fit/ haven’t fit in years fit me well now.my legs are going to be pretty great.
I feel much much better. I’ve been playing outside since the weather is getting better. I love jumping rope, jogging and doing yoga outdoors. Yesterday I did some yoga and it was the ultimate moment of Zen. Closing my eyes while in a deep stretch and letting the sun beam down on my face was the most calming thing I’ve ever experienced.
I made the best pumpkin muffins the other day they were sooo good. My next adventure will be making hummus for the first time. I’ve never even had it before but I’m going to attempt to make some.
Overall I feel great. I’m revamping my goals some to deal with the current state of my life.
