Cranial Void To Let

I stood on the scales one morning and suddenly became aware I had my dressing gown on. I removed the garment and proceeded to hold it out to my side at arms length so as not to add the unecessary weight to the final total on the scale display.

I stepped onto the scales holding a cup of tea. Upon realising the extra weight in my hand I set the cup down and held the mouthful of tea in my mouth thinking momentarily, if it were not contained in my stomach it wouldn’t affect my weight measurement. Beginning to realise the weight loss I’ve finally seen on the scales must be down to vanishing brain cells.
