Now THAT’S what I’m talking about

254.  That’s right boys and girls! Read it and weep… or cheer.  That’s down 6 from my start.  This counts as a significant decrease.  I will be real happy at 240…or 210 for that matter, but this is nice.  It is a good positive reinforcement for everything that I have been doing.  Now, I know that the morning after a work out, I am a little lighter than norm, typically a pound or two.  Still even that weight would be good.

So even with falling off the wagon, I was able to get some positive results.  Honestly that is what your expectations should be.  No one can be perfect.  But keep heading in the right direction and you will get there.

Here is another diddy.  I was playing with my daughters the other day when they decided that daddy was going to be the playground.  They climbed on me, slid off my back, jumped on me (no cup – that could have been bad).  You know, the typical things.  Well at one point it was “everybody sit on daddy” time, which is exactly like what it sounds.  They all sat on my back.  So I thought to myself, “I wonder if I could do a push up with them on my back”.  Before Crossfit, this idea wouldn’t have even crossed my mind.  Why would it?  It is a silly think to try to do.  There is no purpose for it.  So naturally I tried it.  Guess what.  Not only could I do one, I could do three!  The girls weight a combined 70-80 pounds and I could still do it.  No snaking either.  Straight back, straight legs.  I was pleased with that.  Pleased with exercise.  Huh, that’s a first, pleased with exercise.

Until next time!

Never, ever give up!
