Alrighty then…for those of you who are in the know, Weight Watchers ™ operates by allow you to track your daily points – to see how and what the heck you’re eating. This system allows you to control your diet and to (hopefully!) lose some of the evil evil belly fat. One of the main things you should do before you eat is to check the points for what you’re eating…

That brings me back to my early statement – I shot myself in the foot.

So, having four (glorious!) hours to my lonesome self, I decided to go see the new “Julie & Julia “movie – which I heartily recommend – this was awesome movie but bad choice on my part.

In a fit of crazy, I  managed to work through lunch, and so my brilliant plan of seeing a movie heavily based on food wasn’t really a great idea…

It’s after the movie and I am starvinggggggggggggggggggggg, I mean really, really hungry. So, I decide to grab dinner before heading to (second) work – I mean, I can say no to the bad stuff right?

Well, I went to Mimi’s Café – mmmmm….muffin- and thought (honestly!) that I was making the right choice, yea no. So I wound up throwing down over 53 points down on one single meal and that was with the non-fat dressing! Just to give you an idea, my daily points allotment is 31, I managed to eat over 1 ½ times my daily intake in one sit down! That’s crazy!

*sigh* I am lucky though, I still have some of my splurge points – you get an extra 35 points for the total week, just in case – so I’ll be fine but damn!

Aside from the crazy meal, life is pretty much usual for me. Three jobs and college – I’m very tired but that’s life, and “Life is only an incomplete perception of reality” – as one of my professors would say.

Daily Points 31

B. Sara Lee Delight bread (2 slices = 1pt!)

Tomato slices, 1- non fat yoghurt, a peach, and a banana = 6

Snack. 1 grande espresso frappacino light = 2

D. Mimi’s Pot Roast + steamed veggies+ mashed potatoes = 53

Dinner salad w/ non fat dressing, bread basket…

Total daily = -30

*sigh* I a bit green - I'll admit it....
