Calorie Counting

What’s calorie counting? The art of measuring your food in calories and the ability to apportion the intake!

Well its been something that I have tried doing in the past, albeit unsuccessfully. Firstly it takes motivation to keep track of what you eat, secondly it takes patience to find the calorie count of all that you eat, thirdly you loose all the books and sheets where you keep track of these things….the reasons are umpteen.

But now,  I am (infact we are) back at it with a vengeance. Ofcourse having a tool really helps - this is where lifemojo is quite useful. You just have to put in what you eat and the rest is easy!

So is calorie counting useful? Or does it amount to being paranoid, as some might say??

I personally think its quite useful. Ofcourse the added benefit is weight loss, but more importantly, its a great way to weed out the junk stuff that you eat in the day. Mind you, it not just about weight loss; its about a eating healthy - eating the right stuff in the right quantities. This automatically takes you to your weight loss goals. And if you have this perspective, its more enjoyable.

So start counting ‘em . . .
